Coloreonline has been developed within the Swiss Virtual Campus programm with the aim to provide a range of relevant tools apt to support studies of the matter color or color related arguments in professional schools, in UAS and in continuing education.
Coloreonline suggests a vision of the subject, one of the fundamental tools in Art and Design, in three main areas:
- the physical, physiological and cultural principles of perception of colour, which are common to all application domains;
- the representation of colour through light, pigments and on-screen pixels;
- the field of the practical use in the wide range of actual professions with the associated technical implications.
The didactical setup of Coloreonline in every module allows the student to get into the single issue through a general approach wich introduces deepening resources.
At the moment Coloreonline consists of italian and of german modules, due to their origin. The translation in a english version is foreseen.
